Camp Sunfish provides children living in emergency shelters, foster homes, and treatment facilities opportunities to experience unforgettable outdoor adventure in a caring, supportive setting. We work entirely with children who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, mental health challenges, or other unsafe living conditions.
Through our day and overnight lake-based camps, we fill their days with laughter, accomplishment, outdoor fun, and excitement. Our aim is to give these deserving children a feel of what it would be like to spend a day on a lake with a loving family while giving them a much needed escape from their daily lives.
Camp Sunfish is an all-volunteer Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) charity. We are thankful for the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and corporate sponsors who make Camp Sunfish possible.
